Hi ,
As another year draws to a close, it is time for us to look back at 2022. For this newsletter, we choose one highlight from each department – making this selection from 85 projects, over a hundred publications and around 65 presentations was anything but easy! In the December issue, we also feature a number of newly published studies. These deal with the legal framework for the hydrogen economy, concepts for a just transition in coal regions, and ideas on how to motivate people to save energy. We will take a look at the new book by IKEM's director Prof. Dr. Rodi and present to you a colorful info poster on pop-up bike paths in Berlin. For over a decade, IKEM has been at the forefront of Germany’s transition to a renewable, zero-emission energy system. In 2023, we can do even more – with your support. IKEM is one of very few fully independent research NGOs in Europe, which means that our projects depend on the generosity of our donors. Your tax-deductible donation will ensure that we can continue our work to combat the climate crisis and have an even greater impact in 2023. We believe we can build a climate-positive future if we work together. This holiday season, we hope you’ll join us. The IKEM Communications Team
