Clear targets in the face of adversity

Hi ,

for over two years now, Ukraine has been withstanding the Russian invasion and the many associated challenges – including in the energy sector. In this newsletter, we spoke with our colleague Ievgeniia Kopytsia about the impact of the war in Ukraine on climate protection, the country’s impressive goals for decarbonizing its energy supply, and the collaboration between IKEM and its Ukrainian partners.

Additionally, we report on our latest publications – including the legal framework for sustainable methanol and the legal prerequisites for hydrogen partnerships with Namibia. As always, we look back at the month’s events and invite you to upcoming ones – such as the launch event for Infodrag and the first edition of the rural mobility forum.

We hope you enjoy reading!

Until next time,

The IKEM Communication Team
