Hi ,
Working together can be challenging, but it's worth it! This is the experience we have gained from many of our projects. In BOWE2H, for example, we have come to the conclusion that increased transnational cooperation between the Baltic Sea countries can make a significant contribution to the rapid development of offshore wind energy and hydrogen projects in the region. You can find out what other forms of cooperation are important for the energy sector and for climate protection in our interview with IKEM Director Prof. Dr. Rodi.
The successful teamwork in our departments has also produced numerous results this month: The latest publications deal, among other things, with the legal framework for autonomous mobile robots, the sector coupling of electricity and transport and the promotion of citizen participation.
As always, we would like to invite you to our upcoming events: on 10 October, we will be discussing the role of digital innovations for the heat supply at the Forum Wärmewende and at COP29 in Baku in November, we will be hosting a side event with OECD on the interplay between climate protection, the energy sector and security.
Until next time,
The IKEM Communications Team
